The incumbent will be responsible to ensure the effective management of a team of Insurance representatives in order to achieve business objectives. Job Functions Funeral Service Industries Funeral Service,Insurance Specification Compile sales and marketing plans on an annual basis and revised quarterly Compile business development plans in collaboration with a insurance representative team Compile weekly and monthly progress reports on achievements of set objectives and action plans of insurance representatives Manage and develop team to ensure that at least 80% of insurance representatives in your team meet the the minimum standard criteria Manage submission of new business en implement the relevant quality assurance checks on submitted business Monitors individuals in the team’s progress by giving specific feedback on performance Develops and maintains systems to monitor activities or outputs Implement business plans a improve business split per policy pay method Implement action to manage and improve non payments Ensure achievement of annual agreed on production targets Ensure a withdrawal rate as annually agreed on with Branch or Area manager To implement and document cost saving measures per office as per budget Ensure proper control of stock and stationary Ensure that policy and procedures pertaining to petty-cash claim and premium payments are met To implement proper controls for use of marketing kits and promotional material Facilitate continuous discussions, training and coaching sessions with individual representatives Manage insurance representative sales team to minimise minimum wage payment Implement and maintain a source register for the insurance representative sales team Implement and maintain a source visitation register per representative and for District Manager/ Team Leader Manage and oversee the use of marketing equipment during organised marketing days within own team and measure outcomes of marketing days Assist insurance sales representatives in identifying and opening of new sources Effectively manage complaints Effectively set, communicate and monitor minimum production standards Ensure that all representatives are properly trained and that training schedules are adhered to Communicate and ensure compliance with company policies, practises activities and other related matters Recruit new insurance representatives in line with company policy Develop and coach new Representative to become successful productive Representatives Set annual production targets for insurance representatives Conduct disciplinary proceedings, hearings and reports Effectively coach insurance representatives Ensure that assets (building & equipment) are properly branded and maintained to prescribed standards and SOP’s Ensure that representatives are properly dressed and equipped to do presentations and exhibitions Ensure that offices is equipped with the following: Proper branding , Marketing posters, attendance register, FSP Licence and regulatory requirements including COVID regulations Ensure the effective usage of the electronic insurance application and communication platform Requirements Grade 12 A suitable industry entry qualification within the requirements of the Financial Services Board Comply with FAIS legislation for registration as Fit and Proper individuals: Compliant In Terms Of: Class of Business Training and Continuous Professional Development Clear ITC record Clear criminal record No South African Fraud Prevention Listings RE5 certificate RE1 will be an advantage Driver’s license, own reliable transport and cell phone Job Closing Date 11/11/
