Our client is looking to employ an FTTH Sales Specialist. The Job Description of FTTH SALES SPECIALIST you will be interviewed for and based on which your competencies and experience was evaluated is as below. A brief overview of the position / responsibilities of the Job is: Scope: Sales of Fibre (to The Home to new and existing private individuals) which will primarily comprise your existing contacts and network as well as canvassing for new business. Forecasting and pipeline management. Be accountable for your forecasts / appointments / leads / prospects. Meet targets for New Customer Meetings and new business growth (minimum 4 new connections per day). Meet targets for generating own leads and setting up appointments. Responsibilities: The FTTH SALES SPECIALIST will be responsible for prospecting for new Private Clients to meet new Business targets (hunter role). Developing and maintaining a consistent pipeline of sales of fibre to private homeowners and individuals. Build Pipeline with cover. Keeping abreast on the Company’s Telecom Fibre Product Suite. (Training on this as well as internal tools and procedures will be provided). Lead generation and follow up on all requests for quotes and solutions, actively pursuing lead generation activities. Managing opportunities on the lead management system and CRM. Completing all administrative tasks. Achieve net churn of targets. Prioritizing deals to maintain target. Minimum sales of 4 new links per day. Establish, maintain, expand and take ownership of Customer relationships. Characteristics 2 Years external sales experience in direct sales with a proven track record of success. Fibre to home sales experience is advantageous and field sales is essential as is a good understanding of Internet Technology. Strong communication, negotiating and influence skills. Experience in external sales, cold calling and generating own leads. Proficient with MS Office and Sales CRM Solutions. Ability to work individually as a motivated self-starter. Customer orientated and service driven. Sound business sense. Proven ability to sell either Fibre to the home or sales directly to individuals and generating own leads / a track record in exceeding targets. Excellent command of the English language with strong interpersonal skills. Self-motivated, success driven and innovative and above all a hard worker. Systematic, persistent and efficient when managing own time. Professional. Well presented. Hunter mentality – know how to create opportunities, close transactional details. Requirements Fundamental working understanding of Technology. Completed Matric or Grade 12. 2-3 Years of sales experience in the field. Proven ability to contact, quality, develop and close leads by phone, chat and email. Proven ability on how to structure deals. Proven ability to sell technology products via online channels. Must have your own reliable transport. Valid Code B drivers licence. Bilingual and excellent communication skills. Remuneration Up to R108k Basic Plus Commission
