Job Detail RESPONSIBILTIES Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and market share of the company in line with the business plan, focusing on key clients within retail pharmacy groups and mail order dispensaries. Increase revenue, manage expenses to an acceptable ROI and meet defined profit objectives across accounts managed Provide accurate and up to date planning and reporting of results to effectively communicate successful account management Actively seek out new revenue opportunities across existing and new customer base Develop and qualify leads through both company-led marketing efforts and self-initiated account activities Provide marketing data, competitive intelligence, analysis of sales/accounts data and other such information to assist the company’s continual improvement efforts Regular trade visit and customer engagements necessitate various forms presentations and formal and informal meetings Annual contract negotiations and co-op planograms Implement corporate strategies by ensuring products are represented on key account formularies and listed timeously at all wholesalers and vendors. Maintain existing relationships with key account stakeholders Develop a strong understanding of clients’ organizational structures and build relationships at both technical and senior management levels Lead and participate in customer support efforts to build strong customer loyalty – involvements in congresses and other activities Promote internal and external stakeholder engagements Contribute to the overall effective functioning of the sales division as a member of the sales management team Pro-actively ensure interaction and co-ordination with field sales and management staff to apply sales strategy as well as with the Market Access Manager with regard to medical aids and administrators Work closely with the marketing team to align marketing objectives to the KA strategies REQUIREMENTS Minimum of 5 years industry experience, which shall include generics and FMCG and/or CAMS experience would be beneficial An appropriate relevant B degree or equivalent ideally Business Management
