Investigate occurrences of security breaches as and when they occur. Develop a system of best practices for the organisation. Inform the installation and use of security tools throughout the organisation. Provide recommendations for security tools and upgrades. Ensure that installation of new software goes smoothly for technicians and end-users by providing assistance. Perform and ensure the performance of security audits both periodically and when breaches occur. Test security and conduct whitehat hacks. Provide communication on the system status when necessary. Experience: Relevant degree or diploma. 4 years or more role experience. DOD information assurance vulnerability management program experience. HIPS, ID/PS, Host-based Forensics. Network Forensics, RSA security. Knowledge of at least one enterprise SIEM platform. Signature development and deployment experience. Large scale WAF experience. Network Firewall and IPS experience. Scripting experience. 4 years or more experience with application and network security engineering. HTTP, ICP, IP experience.
