Job Detail Job Description This is a great opportunity to join us as Warehouse / Distribution Center Data Analyst , part of the Warehouse Team in our Motorparts Johannesburg Plant, Meadowview. In this role you will assist and support the DC Management Team through developing DC reports, analyzing DC information, and monitoring performance, particularly supplier performance. As a DC Analyst you will be responsible for completion and submission of EMEA reports & Scorecards, and you will assist with EXCO reports. You will also track and record DC expenditure. Job Responsibilities Daily & monthly labour capacity planning Daily & monthly DC metrics recording & reporting Assist in operational budgeting Report order rationalization potential on monthly basis Record vendor compliance scores and report scorecards Periodic review of optimum stock placement per product hit frequency Maintain SAP & BW queries to support departmental reporting Monthly Pareto customer claims analysis & trend reporting SAP Master data maintenance Compile DC EXCO pack Project Management for all DC Projects as determined from time to time SAP improvement projects Conduct cycle counts and investigations Daily/monthly reporting on Warehouse big screen on inbound/outbound performance by lines/units by staff members Capturing all data on daily basis on various Warehouse reports Assisting with yearly wall to wall stock count Managing stock finds and scraping process RC 1 – Stock allocation Maintain DC Forecast on weekly basis Required Experience What will make you successful Essential skills Education: min. 3 years Logistics/Engineering Degree Excellent SAP Proficiency (SAP & BW) Excellent MS Excel and MS PowerPoint skills Computer literacy Knowledge of WMS At least 4 years work experience in Warehouse Environment Warehouse operations knowledge Must be prepared to work on weekends as and when required (one weekend a month – Saturday or Sunday) Soft skills Analytical Skills Judgment/decision-making Organisation/planning Accuracy Communication skills What we offer We want to make you feel welcomed, challenged and inspired and so we’ve made sure to carefully put together a blend of benefits meant to boost your health and well-being, to ensure your personal and professional growth and also your integration in a pleasant day-to-day working environment.
